Our Summer Season Plans, Come Join Us!

We’re excited to announce tryouts for the Adrenaline Basketball Summer Season, running from mid-June through September 6th! This is a great opportunity for players to develop skills, train hard, and compete with purpose.

Below are the full details—including tryouts on June 14th OR 15th:

Season Overview

• Season Dates: Mid-June – September 6
• Cost: $625.00
  
• Included:
• Court rentals, insurance, tournament fees
• Team uniform
• 2 Speed & Agility sessions @ Adrenaline Sports Academy
• 2 Mental & Physical Strength classes @ Adrenaline Sports Academy
• 1 Skills Weekend
• Professional sports photos
• A copy of Relentless by Tim S. Grover (required reading for grades 6 and up)

Team Format

• Practice Schedule: Two 90-minute practices per week (Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday)
• Practice Location: In or around Toms River, NJ
• Gameplay Format:
• Option 1: 5 tournaments
• Option 2: 2 tournaments + league play (based on team structure)

Tentative Tournament Schedule

• June 28–29: BDG Hoops Summer Showcase (Manalapan, NJ)
• July 19–20: Summer Finale at HGHQ (Neptune, NJ)
• July 26–27: Philly Freedom Finale (Philadelphia, PA)
• August 9–10: Tri-State Hoop Mania (Manalapan, NJ) ★
• August 23–24: Labor Day Classic (Florham Park, NJ) ★

★ = For teams choosing 2 tournaments + league play (League games will be held Friday nights in Marlboro/Manalapan)

Tryout Information

(See attached flyer for grade-level times. Finalized times will be shared if changes occur.)

• Dates: Friday, June 14 or Saturday, June 15
• Location: TakeFlight Basketball
• 1256 Indian Head Rd, Toms River, NJ 08755
• Tryout Details:
• Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time
• Bring your own basketball and water bottle
• Tryouts are based on the grade your child is entering in Fall 2025
• Donation: $10 (cash or check, due at tryout)

Payment Options

• Cash or Check (in a sealed envelope)
• Venmo: @Josh-Reckeweg
• Credit/Debit: (4% fee)
• Payment Plan Available: (10% fee applies)
• Must adhere to agreed schedule (50% due June 20, 2025; 25% due July 7, 2025 and fill 25% due July 21, 2025)
• Missed payments may result in removal from team without refund

Attendance Policy

• A strong commitment to practices and games is expected
• Each player’s attendance impacts the team
• Absences affect everyone, not just the individual
• Please notify your coach in advance of any planned absences
• Commitment will be considered for future season invitations

Team Communication

• All updates will be shared via the GAME CHANGER App (invite sent after registration)

Final Notes

• All players AND parents must sign the team contract
• If we are unable to form a full team in an age group, interested players will still be included in summer activities—receiving court time, training, and a chance to grow in the game.
